Class Descriptions

Dance

Learn fun and current dance moves. Classes include various turns and leaps while focusing on proper dance technique. Students work on flexibility & strength and love this fun class.

Baton Twirling

Baton twirling is an excellent way of developing hand-eye coordination, rhythm, timing, poise and gracefulness, endurance, self-discipline, and overall total body coordination. Classes involve all aspects of baton twirling from fundamental tricks to advanced competitive combinations. Basic dance & flexibility skills are also included in all baton twirling classes.

Kinder Dance & Ballet

Kinder Dance & Ballet is a wonderful introduction to dance for our younger Carolina Superstars! In this class students learn the fundamentals of ballet while also learning fun dance routines to upbeat music. This combination class allows students to enjoy learning about dance in an exciting environment

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation for training and focuses on developing a solid ballet background with an emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body, and use of arms.

Kinder Dance & Tumble

Kinder Dance & Tumble is a favorite for our little dancers who also want to roll and flip! In this combo class students learn the fundamentals of tumbling while also learning fun dance routines to upbeat music. This combination class allows students to enjoy learning about dance and tumbling in a fun high energy environment!

Jazz/Pom/ACRO

Jazz/Pom/ACRO is one of our most popular dance classes! This class learns jazz and pom style dance routines while also putting an emphasis on flexibility and ACRO skills!

Kinder Dance & Baton

Kinder Dance & Baton is a great way for your little one to get both dance and baton fundamentals. This class teaches dance skills like kicks, leaps, splits, footholds, ballet positions, ect. while also teaching the basics of baton twirling! This is also a great class for your child to be able to learn both dance and baton skills so they can decide which they like best for the future.

Kinder Dance & Baton Level 2

Kinder Dance & Baton Level 2 is for our littlest Carolina Superstars who have already had one season of class at Carolina Superstars. This allows them to be in a class with others at their same level and age.

Kinder Dance & Baton Level 3

Kinder Dance & Baton Level 3 is for our littlest Carolina Superstars who have already had two seasons of class at Carolina Superstars. For example, this class would be great if your child was previously in Level 2 or they have already taken two seasons of class with us. This allows them to be in a class with others at their same level and age.

Tumbling / ACRO / Flexibility

This class is an exciting and fun introduction to tumbling and acrobatics! Students in this class work to learn rolls, cartwheels, roundoffs, and then eventually move on to more intricate skills. During this class we put a huge emphasis on flexibility and working to increase our overall movement capabilities so students can better execute their skills!

Kinder Dance, Baton, & Tumbling

Kinder Dance, Baton & Tumbling is a great combination class for the little ones. Students have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of dance, baton, and tumbling during this class! This fun and fast paced class includes stretching, dancing, baton twirling, & tumbling.

Tap & Jazz

This combination class is a wonderful class for students who love to dance and tap their feet to the beat! Students will learn upbeat jazz style dance routines then switch to tap dancing half way through class. They will then learn the fundamentals of tap dancing. Students will need tap shoes and jazz shoes for this class since they will be doing both styles of dance. Our students love this dance class!
